A Standard Member is free of charge and allows you to complete your Funeral Plan Questionnaire, nominate a next-of-kin (who is authorised to contact FuneralWishList and purchase a copy of your plan) and be a next-of-kin or contact to other FuneralWishList members.

A Premium Member has all the functions of a Standard Member plus the added functionality to nominate Contacts (users that are able to view your Funeral Plan Questionnaire online at any time), write ‘My Final Say’ notes and store pictures on their profile, which can be used to form your remembrance photo show. Premium Memberships can be purchased for less than $10 a year!

Before adding any My Contacts, you must complete the questionnaire. In fact, the “My Contacts” link won’t be visible until you do so. .

Your nominated ‘Next of Kin’ can contact FuneralWishList to purchase a copy of your Funeral Plan Questionnaire, but also has the ability to view your Funeral Plan Questionnaire online, view your photos, and enter your Final Passcode to view and print your ‘My Final Say’ notes.

If you are a Premium User, a ‘Contact’ is a nominated friend-family member, who you are giving permission to view your Funeral Plan Questionnaire, photos & contact FuneralWishList if they are required to purchase a copy of your Funeral Plan Questionnaire.

A Premium Member can have up to 12 contacts. (3 of which can be Final Contacts).

You MUST be a FuneralWishList member (i.e. have a FuneralWishList account) to accept a request to be somebody’s ‘Contact’.

Standard Members cannot have any contacts.

If you are a Standard Member, you cannot have any ‘Contacts’.

If you are a Premium User, you can nominate any number of ‘Contacts’. A ‘Contact’ is a nominated friend-family member who you are giving permission to view your Funeral Plan Questionnaire, your photos, access your ‘My Final Say’ notes (after the Final Passcode has successfully been entered) and contact FuneralWishList if they are required to purchase a copy of your Funeral Plan Questionnaire.

You can nominate any number of ‘Contacts’. A ‘Contact’ is a nominated friend-family member who you are giving permission to view your Funeral Plan Questionnaire, your photos, access your ‘My Final Say’ notes (after the Final Passcode has successfully been entered) and contact FuneralWishList if they are required to purchase a copy of your Funeral Plan Questionnaire.

To delete one of your nominated contacts, after logging in, go from the ‘Main Menu’ page to the ‘My Contacts’ page. Next to the Contact with which you want to delete, simply click on the ‘DELETE’ Link.

Log into FuneralWishList & select the ‘Nominees’ link. You will see a list of all the FuneralWishList members whom you are a contact for (a nominee contact). Simply click the ‘delete’ link next to that nominator’s name, and the contact-link will be removed.

To change your contact types, go to the My Contacts link where you will see a list of all your nominated contacts. Click the EDIT link next to the contact with whom you want to change contact status for & select their new status from the drop down box.

You can change your FuneralWishList username by logging into your account, going to the ‘My Account’ section and typing in a new Username in the ‘FuneralWishList Username’ field. After clicking the ‘UPDATE’ button at the bottom of the page, the system will check the database for duplicates (if the system detects another user already has registered your new username, an error message will appear) – the website does not allow duplicate user names. Your username is not case sensitive.

You can change your FuneralWishList email address by logging into your account, going to the ‘My Account’ section and typing in a new Email Address in the ‘Email Address’ field. After clicking the ‘UPDATE’ button at the bottom of the page, the system will check the database for duplicates (if the system detects another user already has registered your new email address, an error message will appear) – the website does not allow duplicate email addresses.

You can change your FuneralWishList password by logging into your account, going to the ‘My Account’ section and clicking on the ‘Password’ field (which will be greyed out initially). The system will assume from this action, that you want to change your password. Simply enter your new password, and then re-enter it (for validation) in the field below (Re-Enter Password).

After clicking the ‘UPDATE’ button at the bottom of the page, the system will update the database with your new password. You will receive an email to your registered email address, advising you that your password has been changed.

NOTE: Your password is case sensitive.

If you have forgotten your password, just click on the ‘Forgotten Username/Password’ link on the FuneralWishList homepage. Enter your registered FuneralWishList email address and the system will send your username and password to you.

FuneralWishList currently uses PAYPAL as it’s payment gateway for membership subscriptions. You will need a credit or debit card to purchase or renew your memberships and to purchase your next of kin or contacts funeral plan questionnaire.

Alternatively, download this Credit Card Authorisation form, complete and return it to us (this form can also be used for money order payments).

If you are a Premium User and you do not renew your subscription, then your account will be changed to a standard account. Your Contacts will be deleted, your photos and My Final Say notes will also be deleted from the site. Your Next-of Kin will remain, however they will no longer have the facility to review your questionnaire online. They will still be able to purchase your Funeral Plan questionnaire off FuneralWishList.

At any time, you can add extra subscription onto your Premium Membership – you do not have to wait until 1 month or 1 week prior to expiry before you renew.

You will receive an email from FuneralWishList one month & another one week prior to your membership subscription expiring, reminding you to extend your premium membership period.

To be a contact or Next of Kin to somebody else, you must be a member of FuneralWishList. To do so, simply create an account (bottom right corner of homepage). After your account is created, click on the link on the email you have received and enter the contact request ‘verification’ code.

This can be handled 2 ways

1. If you want to keep your email addresses separate, you then need to create a new/separate account (one for each email address) – then return to the email you have received, click on the link in the email and enter the verification code. You will need to remember which people are contacts to which different FuneralWishList account.
2. If you already have a FuneralWishList account, but you have received a contact request to a different email address, simply click on the link in the email you receive and enter the verification code. You will then advise the system that you are a current FuneralWishList member, and enter your current FuneralWishList Username and password. The system will link the verification code just entered, with the valid username and password entered – meaning you will now be a contact to your friend, using your existing FuneralWishList account.

This is a secret passcode you create, which is used to unlock or reveal the contents of your notes/messages in the ‘My Final Say’ section . Your passcode is stored in the ‘My Account’ section of your profile and it is your responsibility to advise what this passcode is to your nominated ‘Contacts’.

In the event of your passing, your Contacts (or Next of Kin) can enter your Final Passcode. FuneralWishList will send an email to your registered email account. If you do not log into your FuneralWishList account within 48 hours of when the system sends you the email, your Contact (or Next of Kin) has access to your ‘My Final Say’ notes – which they can print off the website and distribute to those they are addressed too.

You can change your FuneralWishList Final Passcode by logging into your account, going to the ‘My Account’ section and clicking on the ‘Final Passcode’ field. The system will assume from this action, that you want to change your Final Passcode.

Simply enter your new passcode, and then re-enter it (for validation) in the field below (Re-Enter Final Passcode). After clicking the ‘UPDATE’ button at the bottom of the page, the system will update the database with your new final passcode.

As a safeguard, the website will email you immediately when a Contact attempts to access your ‘Final Say’ notes. You have a 48 hour timeframe to log into your account (before all of your Contact’s have access to the notes) to cover the case where you are not deceased and one of your Contacts is being nosey! Your other Contacts will also receive an email, so in a situation where you do not regularly check your emails, one of them could notify you within the 48 hour timeframe.

If you have not logged into your account within the 48 hour timeframe, then ALL of your Contacts will have access to your ‘Final Say’ notes. If you DO log into your account within the 48 hour timeframe, none of your Contacts will be able to view your ‘Final Say' notes and the Contact who has attempted to access your final notes will be removed as a contact. It is entirely up to you if you want to reinstate them as a contact again.

You also have 30 days to log into your account after the warning email has been sent, otherwise the website will assume you have passed away, and your account will be locked. Your contacts will be able to view your profile.

No, if you do not wish to use the ‘My Final Say’ notes section, then you do not need to nominate any. You are strongly recommended to always have a ‘Next of Kin’ contact.

If you are the registered Next-Of-Kin or ‘Contact’ to another User, you can click on the ‘Purchase Questionnaire in PDF format’ button on the User’s Profile page. You then make your payment to FuneralWishList via Paypal, and a PDF copy of the Funeral Plan Questionnaire you are requesting will be emailed to your nominated email address. If applicable, we will also email you a copy of the JPEG photo the user had uploaded as part of their obituary.

If you click on the 'Forgotten Username/Password' link, the system will recognise you have registered an account but not yet verified it. In this case, you will be resent the verification code. Remember, verification codes only are valid for 7 days from the initial issue date.

If you have been referred to the site, you may have been given a reference code by the referrer. Simply enter this code into this field. Alternatively, if you enter the code SFA, 10% of your net membership will be donated to the Stillbirth Foundation of Australia. If you enter the code PCF, 10% of your net membership will be donated to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
